St Mary's Warwick Christmas Tree Festival

St Mary's Christmas Tree Festival 2025

was held between Thursday 27th November and Sunday 7th December

The St Mary's Warwick Christmas Tree Festival was held in November/December 2025

In November and December, St Mary’s Church held a Christmas Tree Festival,  supported by Warwick business, schools and community groups, who sponsored and decorated Christmas Trees displayed throughout the Church. Over 7600 people visited the Festival which opened on Warwick's famous Victorian Evening and ran for the following ten days. Groups such as Spa Brass and local community choirs provided entertainment.

Special sessions were held for Warwick primary school pupils, pre-school children, retirement home residents, and Guide dog trainers. It was the biggest and brightest Christmas Tree Festival in the District!

St Mary's is located in Old Square, Warwick, Warwickshire CV34 4RA.

Statement from new organisers for 2026!

Dear All,

Many thanks for your continued support of St Mary's Christmas Tree Festival (CTF). This has been a wonderful event for the town of Warwick over the years and, in many ways, the highlight of the calendar year. We are enormously grateful to Helen and Tony, Carol and Richard for all their commitment and hard work over the years in making the Festival such a success. The new CTF committee now has big shoes to fill!

We thought we'd introduce ourselves, give you our new email address and a flavour of what is to come. Our new email address is: christmastreefestival@stmaryswarwick.org.uk The dates this year are tentatively 19th - 29th November which means that we are opening a week earlier than Victorian Evening which is scheduled for 26th November. However, there will still be all the traditional stalls, events and, of course, the trees during the Victorian evening.

The preceding week will include themed days for Care Homes, Schools and Veterans to mention a few, plus, of course, a visit from the Mayor for judging the trees plus all the regular musical offerings. We are also aiming to create an atmosphere of reflection as well as joy, with opportunities for lighting candles to remember loved ones during this wonderful season, placing thoughts and prayers on the Memory Tree and enjoying a short and energetic carol service.

So there's lots to get organised over the next few months and we look forward to welcoming you once more to the Christmas Tree Festival! We very much look forward to meeting you all.

Julie Blake
